At Annur Islamic School, we believe that the strength of our institution begins with the character and commitment of our educators and staff. The values that guide us are deeply rooted in Islamic principles and form the foundation of our school culture. These seven values form the acronym ISLAMIC—a daily reminder of the responsibility we carry as role models, mentors, and caretakers of the next generation.

I – Ihsan: is the pursuit of excellence in everything we do, with sincerity and awareness of Allah. It inspires us to go beyond duty — to teach, learn, and lead with care, integrity, and purpose.

L – Leadership: Each teacher and staff member is a leader—whether in the classroom, in planning, or in shaping school culture. We lead by example, empowering students through our words, conduct, and commitment to excellence.

A – Accountability: We take full responsibility for our duties, decisions, and the outcomes of our work. We are accountable to our students, our colleagues, our community—and ultimately, to Allah (swt).

M – Motivation: Driven by a love for teaching and service, we bring energy, optimism, and purpose to our work. We continuously seek improvement, inspired by the Islamic duty to seek knowledge and grow in our roles.

I – Inclusivity: We create a respectful and welcoming environment for all, recognizing and valuing diversity within our school. Inclusivity strengthens our unity and enriches the learning experience for every student.

C – Community: We are one team, working together to support, uplift, and serve our students and families. Through collaboration and shared purpose, we build a community rooted in mutual respect and Islamic brotherhood.
