Annur offers the community a high-quality Islamic preschool for 3- and 4-year-olds, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Our full-day program blends rigorous academics, Islamic values, and character development in a warm, respectful, and nurturing environment. The curriculum combines New York State learning standards with a faith-based framework, preparing children for kindergarten academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Students engage in English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies,

alongside Arabic, Qur’an, Tarbiyah (character education), Arts & Crafts, and Physical

Education. Lessons foster creativity, critical thinking, and curiosity, helping children gain strong

skills in both worldly and Islamic knowledge.

develops early literacy through letter recognition, phonemic awareness, sight words, and emergent reading and writing, supported by read-alouds, discussions, and creative storytelling.

introduces counting, number recognition, shapes, patterns, and simple operations through hands-on activities.

class focuses on memorizing short surahs with proper tajweed and learning daily du’as.

Arts and Crafts strengthen creativity and fine motor skills, while Physical Education promotes coordination, teamwork, and active play. The daily schedule balances structured lessons with free play, rest, and outdoor activities, guided by qualified teachers trained in both academic and Islamic pedagogy.
